The General Manager will be responsible for the overall operational and financial performance of the division. The successful individual will demonstrate effective leadership, fiscal responsibility, flexibility, and a willingness to effectively manage multiple simultaneous priorities. Key accountabilities will include the following: 1.Promote and encourage a culture of teamwork employing best practices that benefits all team members and ultimately our clients. 2.Work with executive management team in strategic planning and executing the organization’s strategic growth plan with a strong emphasis on increasing revenues and profit. 3.Meet the division’s financial performance goals. 4.Prepare annual budget to be reviewed by the executive management team. 5.Coach, mentor and monitor managers, team leaders and supervisors to be effective and expand their capabilities as leaders. 6.Expand the skill and knowledge base of employees by directing and creating opportunities of professional development for managers, team leaders, and supervisors. 7.Responsible for the production, fabrication and manufacturing of all goods and services with an emphasis on quality and on time delivery. 8.Responsible for equipment maintenance, replacement and justification of capital expenditures 9.Adhere to safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules and regulations, and work with the Human Resources/Safety Manager on safety improvement, accident investigation and risk mitigation. 10.Oversee the Enterprise Resource Plan (ERP) system’s effectiveness and continued development. 11.Responsible for inventory management including overseeing the purchasing and flow of all goods. 12.Participate in labor negotiations as directed by the executive management team.
Minimum Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Development or Industrial Engineering or related degree. •Five to seven years of directly related duties, with at least two years’ experience in charge of plant operations, sales management, business development or leading a division. •High emotional intelligence and effective interpersonal skills required to deal with diverse personalities at all levels of management. •Knowledge of Microsoft office applications and ERP systems
