Advertised Summary Job Description: Support the Supply Chain Team in the ordering, receiving and dispensing of supplies across all Vanderbilt Clinics, Pediatric Haven Clinic, Dentcare Clinics and Faculty Practice sites. Assist in all equipment ordering, tagging and maintenance. Specific focus will be on tasks that support the RFID system in place across the Vanderbilt Clinics, and assists the Supply Chain team in developing and expanding the system.
Reporting Relationships I.Reports to: Supply Chain, Equipment & Facilities Coordinators II.Frequent Contacts: Has daily contact with College of Dental Medicine students, clinic staff, and faculty.
Primary tasks will further the goal of the Radio Frequency Identification RFID project at the College of Dental Medicine (CDM) clinics. Ongoing maintenance of instrument kits to ensure completeness. The replacement of RFID tags as necessary on both cassettes and on individual instruments. Provide key support in completing the ongoing transition to school-owned instrumentation throughout Postgraduate level clinics, by preparing instruments orders, tagging all items, compiling kits, and entering all of these articles into the RFID tracking system. Continual review of data related to instrumentation movements to ensure students adherence to policy, with direct follow up as necessary.
Assists and assure ordering, receiving and dispensing of supplies throughout all the CDM patient care areas (including offsite locations) and the preclinical training lab are carried out in a timely manner as needed. Helps ensure that every provider (student, resident, or faculty) has the tools required within each clinic area for all patient encounters.
Working closely with other members of the Supply Chain team, will assist in ensuring that all appropriate supplies are tagged and tracked using available asset management software tools. Prepares and reviews reports using data from asset management software. Continual improvement and maintenance of asset tracking database, working towards consolidation of systems where possible.

General Minimum Qualifications: Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience, plus two years of related experience.
Additional Specific Minimum Qualifications: Must be detail-oriented and have excellent interpersonal skills. Must be computer literate with working knowledge of spreadsheets and the other standard MS Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience with Peoplesoft financial system is preferred.
