Leads enterprise-wide sourcing activities using FedEx sourcing methodology including the development, execution and management of short and long term strategies for complex categories and internal processes/programs with limited supervision. Leads in the project management of sourcing initiatives that have major corporate impact. Leads and guides the staff in complex sourcing programs. Works on multiple complex assignments concurrently. Leads and manages cross functional teams/projects. Develops and mentors less experienced team members using highly developed complex category and category management expertise. Develops negotiating strategy and leads negotiations to successful outcomes of significant corporate impact. Acts with senior level authority with suppliers, business stakeholders, finance and legal.

Provide an oversight role for efforts to underpin certainty of supply of jet fuel and vehicle fuel
Organize and prioritize team activities to ensure completion of timely deliverables (supplier risk mitigation analysis, travel budgets, contract routing and execution)
Demonstrate ability to manage supplier relationships, execute strategic sourcing initiatives, and perform fuel category management activities

Bachelor's Degree/equivalency in supply chain, business, finance, economics, or other quantitative disciplines. Minimum five (5) years’ work experience in sourcing and/or sourcing analysis. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements. Exceptional analytical decision making skills. Superior demonstrated skills with current technology tools/advances. Proven negotiating skills and project management skills. Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills including presentation skills.
