Visiting Assistant Professor of Practice – Quantitative Methods

The College of Business Administration at The University of Akron invites applicants for a full-time, Visiting Assistant Professor of Practice faculty position to teach quantitative methods. The position will be for one academic year Fall 2017 through Spring 2018.
The Visiting Assistant Professor of Practice will teach undergraduate courses in the areas of business statistics, analytics, and related courses; teach graduate level courses in the areas of analytics and other quantitatively intense subjects; and provide service to the university, college, department, and business communities. Candidates with the ability to teach in other fields important to the department of management (e.g., supply chain management) may be given additional consideration.
Successful applicants will have a master's degree in business or a related discipline at the time of appointment from an accredited or highly regarded university. In addition, candidates will have significant relevant work experience.
Candidates with a doctoral degree may receive additional consideration. Also, candidates with the ability to teach in other fields important to the department of management (e.g., supply chain management) may be given additional consideration.
