The Supply Chain Department is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our team in Oceanport,NJ. The Customer Service Department serves as the primary contact by facility personnel seeking to resolve daily supply chain issues and concerns with Purchasing and Data Management. The Customer Service Representative is responsible for answering and loggings all incoming customer and vendor communications via telephone, email and/or faxes; identifying, trouble-shooting and rectifying issues in a timely manner. Communicate regularly with all members of Supply Chain and Accounts Payable plus others as needed. The Customer Service Representative will routinely obtain PODs, expedite orders and work match exceptions. Special projects and other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or GED required. Associates degree preferred. Two years purchasing and buying experience required. Strongly prefer experience with PeopleSoft and Customer Service is a plus. Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Able to perform basic mathematical calculations, balance and reconcile figures, possess good communication (written and verbal) skills.
