The Microsoft Operations team is responsible for the global operations of our Commercial, Consumer, MBS, Online, Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM), and Services businesses, focusing on the strategy, development and execution of Microsoft’s physical and digital supply chain solutions in mature and emerging markets. This includes the operationalization of new business models in the Cloud transformation and support for our Business Groups and field for product planning, launch, release and order management.
The Commercial Business activities are helmed by the four Regional Operations Centers (“ROCs”) around the world. Together, we're inspired every day to think of better ways to deliver the best sales operations support for our Volume Licensing, Partner and Developer Programs, Enterprise Services, Microsoft Business Solutions and Online Services. This includes Order-to-Cash, Licensing and Invoicing, Incentive Compensation, Field Sales Support, Channel Readiness and Communications, Program Management and Business Incubation.
The Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) division is at the heart of Microsoft, licensing software and services on mobile and embedded devices, PCs, tablets and servers. Our Operations team supports partners like HP, Samsung, Lenovo, Sony, Dell, and Toshiba through new product launch, licensing, billing and digital product activation.
Online & Digital Operations
The Global Online Business Operations and Digital Operations Capability organizations are responsible for driving transformation and performance of core business systems, and improvement to customer and partner business experiences. This includes order-to-cash business systems for new and existing Online services; delivering customer centric e-commerce.
Operations Planning & Launch
Responsible for the Operational Planning and Launch function of our Commercial, Device, and Online business. This includes several hundred product lauches per year across most of our direct and channel sales models.
Pursuing either an undergraduate degree or MBA degree with a focus in operations, logistics, supply chain management or relevant field
