If you love the pursuit of excellence and are inspired by the challenges that come through driving the innovations that impact how the world lives, works, and plays, then we invite you to learn more about Microsoft Operations and what we do—and the value we deliver across Microsoft and to our customers and partners.
Microsoft Operations offers a unique opportunity to work on interesting projects on a global scale and in an environment that values diversity, focuses on talent development, and recognizes and rewards great work. Our team culture also values our lives and contributions outside work to our families, communities, and the world around us.
The Microsoft Operations team is responsible for the global operations of our Commercial, Consumer, MBS, Online, Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM), and Services businesses, focusing on the strategy, development and execution of Microsoft’s physical and digital supply chain solutions in mature and emerging markets. This includes the operationalization of new business models in the Cloud transformation and support for our Business Groups and field for product planning, launch, release and order management.
The Commercial Business activities are helmed by the four Regional Operations Centers (“ROCs”) around the world. Together, we're inspired every day to think of better ways to deliver the best sales operations support for our Volume Licensing, Partner and Developer Programs, Enterprise Services, Microsoft Business Solutions and Online Services. This includes Order-to-Cash, Licensing and Invoicing, Incentive Compensation, Field Sales Support, Channel Readiness and Communications, Program Management and Business Incubation.
The Demand Planning Business is responsible for creating one demand planning process and tools for all Microsoft Devices. We create performance management systems that can be leveraged across devices for proactive performance management, addressing gaps that make it easy to do business with Microsoft for Devices.
The Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) division is at the heart of Microsoft, licensing software and services on mobile and embedded devices, PCs, tablets and servers. Our Operations team supports partners like HP, Samsung, Lenovo, Sony, Dell, and Toshiba through new product launch, licensing, billing and digital product activation.
