Provide overall management for the Value Analysis Programs, new product introduction and supply equipment standardization. Effectively utilizes data and internal resources to identify and implement safety standards, quality of care, employee engagement, and house-wide cost savings opportunities in the areas of clinical and non-clinical utilization and best practice. Champions evidence based research to investigate the value and effectiveness of new and existing product/service/technology requests. Provide leadership and Continuous Process Improvement to ensure standard practice for staff engagement. Participates in Capital Equipment budgeting process.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required
Bachelors degree in Business, Operations, Healthcare Administration, or Nursing
At least 3 years experience of a combination of strategic sourcing (purchasing) and/or change management/value
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly. Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively necessary. Must have strong mathematical aptitude with effective analytical abilities. Must be knowledgeable in use of personal computer, database programs and use of Materials Management or related computer systems. Must have knowledge of hospital supplies and equipment.
