Under occasional supervision, the Supply Clerk is responsible for receiving and storing all materials that are kept in the hospital storeroom. He/she is also responsible for receiving all non‑inventory items not kept in the storeroom. He/she is responsible for, following up on back orders, returns, and repairs. Performs all other duties as assigned.
Core competencies: Compliance and computerized annual required education (Healthstream); additional competencies as defined by Department Director.
A. Education: A high school graduation or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
B. Experience: 1 year's experience in receiving preferred.
C. Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities: The Supply Clerk must be adaptable and able to work in different areas of Materials Management. Experience working in a storeroom and with computers is helpful.
