(Norton Shores, MI) Develop and implement strategies to lead global sourcing, procurement, and supply chain activities, including identification of new sources of supply for metal components that provide strategic benefit in cost, quality, responsiveness, or continuity. Coordinate/aggregate global sourcing requirements and identify the most suitable supply approach. Prepare, standardize and process Requests for Quotation (RFQ), negotiate supplier pricing and contracts, create and manage of Supplier Scorecards and supervise and direct EQI Supplier Quality Engineer and Quality Assurance staff at supplier locations. Create optimum supplier base and partner with the VP Sales & Marketing to ensure a clear understanding and qualification of customer programs, opportunities, as well as growth and service-level objectives. Balance both long-term and tactical elements and take a strategic look across commodity markets, Best Cost Countries, and customer expectations while also driving proactively to better align sourcing and procurement activities with Sales through joint planning. Develop innovative approaches to achieve the best possible purchase price while ensuring world class quality and delivery.
Minimum of a Master of Business Administration, three years of global supply chain experience and CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) certification required.
