This position will be responsible for:
Working with functional and technical team members, participating in the analysis, design, development and testing of new or enhanced business processes within PeopleSoft HR and Financials.
Arriving at technical solutions factoring in functional specifications and analysis of feasibility and efficiency within the PeopleSoft delivered technologies.
Interfacing with functional analysts as well as with technical resources (other developers, DBA, PS Admin, Security Admin, etc) to troubleshoot issues.
Analyzing, designing, and implementing various data interfaces between PeopleSoft and external systems such as the Data Warehouse and HRMS systems.
Providing detailed technical documentation of all analysis, designs, and implementations.
To qualify, you must have:
Strong analytical, problem solving and debugging skills, sufficient to provide accurate problem analysis to the business unit and follow up with documentation.
In-depth experience with PeopleSoft PeopleTools v.8.46 or above (including Application Designer, Application Engine, PeopleCode, Process Scheduler, and HRMS and Payroll systems.
Experience with Integration Broker, Application Messaging, and other integration tools on the PeopleSoft Enterprise platform are a plus.
Experience with PeopleSoft Enterprise HR/Payroll, Self-Service, Time and Labor is a plus.
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Systems, Computer Technology or a related discipline is preferred.
Good communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team.

Children's Hospital Boston has an enterprise-class installation of the PeopleSoft Financials, Supply Chain and HRMS systems. We are embarking on a large reimplementation of our HR, Payroll and Workforce Management systems. The PeopleSoft Applications Developer will work with a team of Developers and IT technical support analysts in support of these systems and the reimplementation project. On a day to day basis you will be responsible for maintaining our PeopleSoft Financials, Supply Chain, HR and Payroll Systems system modules. You will work at a detailed technical level developing custom programming, online pages, batch processes, and reports. You will provide technical process and systems analysis; development and testing and will handle production support for these PeopleSoft Financials systems.
