St. Charles Community College is seeking a full-time faculty member to develop and teach agriculture courses for spring 2018. Teaching and course development responsibilities include, but are not limited to, courses in Soil Science, Soil Science Lab, Plant Science, Plant Science Lab, Introductory Forestry, Sustainable Agriculture and the Environment, Precision Agriculture, and an Agricultural Industries course. In addition to teaching, develop community connections with industry as well as advise agriculture students, supervise internships, serve on college committees, and participate in curriculum revision as needed.
Minimum starting salaries for fall 2017:
Instructor $52,200; Assistant Professor $57,500; Associate Professor $63,215
Qualifications: A Masters’ Degree in Agronomy, Soil Science, Forestry, Agricultural Science or closely related field is required. Ph.D. preferred.
