Teach a one semester class on Process Safety in Winter 2018, with an anticipated enrollment of 20 students.
Applicants should have a BSE degree in Chemical Engineering and a minimum of 15 years of experience with an emphasis on process safety and a reputation in the field as an expert in process safety. A demonstrated ability in classroom and non-classroom mentoring of young engineers is also a plus.
The college is especially interested in candidates who can contribute, through teaching, to the diversity and excellence of the academic community. Previous teaching experience is highly valued.
This position is subject to the terms and conditions of a collective bargaining agreement between the University of Michigan and the Lecturers’ employee organization (LEO) AFT/MFT and SRP Local 6244 AFL-CIO.
