The IAB Technology Laboratory is an independent, global, nonprofit research and development consortium that defines and helps companies implement technical standards for digital advertising. Comprised of publishers, ad technology firms, marketers, agencies, and other interactive marketing companies, the IAB Tech Lab's standards, software, and services enable brand and media growth globally via a transparent, safe, and effective supply chain; simpler and more consistent measurement; and better advertising experiences for consumers -- all with a focus on mobile and "TV" channel enablement. Established in 2014, the IAB Tech Lab is headquartered in New York City, with an office in San Francisco.
As an intern, you will have exposure to some of the most important issues facing the industry today and the thought leadership initiatives designed to solve for those issues. You will learn how our organization functions and how we manage a large amount of data that allows us to serve our members.
The term of the internship will be approximately 2 months starting in February/March 2018. The Account Assistant Intern is expected to work approximately 20 hours a week and will be paid $13 per hour.
Duties and Responsibilities (includes but not limited to):
Working group meetings coordination & management
Intern responsible for maintenance and enhancement of working group roster management. May include communication to members about resources available for working group projects. May include management of working group schedules and agenda/follow up notes communication.
Account management and auditing membership records
Working group roster management may include communication with primary contacts to manage member participation.
Internal resource for Tech Lab, will need to be familiar with IAB Membership protocols, very likely to have external communication with members
Qualifications (required skills, major/areas of study, characteristics):
CRM Experience, ideally using Salesforce
Google Docs & Excel
Ability to clearly communicate to clients, and some experience in sales or account management
Experience using Outlook, with emphasis on calendar management
Good writing/editing skills, ideally experienced with technical writing
WordPress experience is preferred
