Responsible for provisioning, deploying, administering, monitoring, maintaining, troubleshooting, upgrading and patching of Information Technology resources and services in current Microsoft Windows Server and Services platforms including Hybrid cloud. Document processes, procedures, system configurations and specifications. Exhibits strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with the capability to learn and retain new technical competencies. Able to independently initiate the development and utilization of technical resources to provide stable, best practice, environment specific solutions. Ability to multitask. Ability to work effectively alone and in team environments. Responds effectively in a timely, professional manner in a variety of situations. Minimum Experience: No degree – Six years recent applicable experience. Associate Degree with four years' applicable experience. Bachelor's Degree with two years applicable experience. Comprehensive Windows System and Service Administration.
- Some college/Associates degree in Computer Software, Information Systems or related fields. – 3-5 years of experience in software support and development with proficiency in scripting and programming- Experience in software management and deployment in Windows, OSX, Linux; – Experience with audio/visual systems and microcontrollers/sensors/IoT; – Knowledge of virtualization concepts and implementations, version control/repository, security concepts, and VPN technologies. – 1-3 years of experience in software installation, development and support on either Windows or OS X workstations or servers.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent with minimum 2-years' experience in corresponding products and technologies. Current knowledge of best practice and systems deployment and maintenance. Troubleshooting methodology and awareness of industry standards. Good problem solving skills. Good communication skills. Strong technical documentation and organizational skills. Level 2 support experience or better (scale 1-3 with 3 being a senior specialist).
