Join us! Come share who you are and start doing your life's best work.(sm) This Infrastructure Monitoring Analyst role will support Optum's cloud based java application called Cirrus. Cirrus is a sophisticated claim adjudication application that will revolutionize the health care industry by increasing flexibility, configurability and reliability while decreasing operational costs. Primary Responsibilities:Monitor & Analyze multiple infrastructure stacks, including Java Application Servers, DB Servers (MySQL), OS, VMware and OpenShift, RabbitMQ, Storage Technologies, Networks/Switches (F5), Layer 7 Technologies Monitoring & Analyzing Configurations of Application Servers, DB Servers, Operating Systems, VMs, OSE v3, RabbitMW, Hardware, Storage Technologies, Networks Backup and Disaster Recovery Planning Asset Tracking Certificate Tracking and Updating Infrastructure Security Monitoring & Analysis Change Monitoring and Control in a virtualized environment - e.g. VMotions are not part of the standard Change Control process, but we need to know about it when we do incident triage Triaging Incidents Creating and Working on Problem Tickets as required War Room Support Supporting monitoring for infrastructure
Required Qualifications:4+ years overall IT experience 2+ years of Infrastructure Support Experience Experience with multiple stacks of Infrastructure, such as: Java Application Servers, DB Servers (MySQL), OS, VMware and OpenShift, RabbitMQ, Storage Technologies, Networks/Switches (F5), Layer 7 TechnologiesPreferred Qualifications:Java, Jenkins, AWSTechnology Careers with Optum.
