The Sr. Director, Business Development will be based in Austin, TX and will be primarily responsible for identifying, cultivating, and closing key target accounts to expand and drive market penetration in North America for Flex’s Industrial Business. Through cross-functional collaboration, you will be responsible for developing innovative solutions leveraging your expertise in the customers’ requirements to deliver valued proposals to new customers.

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:
Develop new relationships with key Flex target customers to strengthen, expand and drive market penetration.
Identify key stakeholders within target accounts and develop account plans to penetrate and develop mutually beneficial business relations
Innovate using your expertise in customer requirements to improve and/or to extend the value proposition to new customers.
Lead solution development with a cross-functional team for developing proposals for new customers
Negotiate contracts with the customer on behalf of Flex with the support of the Flex legal teams.
Act as the primary point of contact between the cross-functional execution team and the customer.

Bachelor’s degree required
Must have 7+ years of relevant business development-related experience
Ability to travel 50% of the time or more
