The candidate is expected to establish an externally funded research program, to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, and to provide services within and outside the department.
Minimum Experience / Education:
UNC Charlotte gives primary consideration to the earned doctorate or terminal degree in the teaching discipline or a related discipline.
Preferred Education Skills and Experience:
We are seeking applicants with backgrounds in big data, data science and data analytics. We are primarily interested in the candidates with the domain expertise in one or more of the following areas: energy, healthcare, transportation, supply chain and financial services. The candidates are expected to have an earned Ph.D. degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
