Provide overall leadership and direction for Strategic Sourcing Team, which includes sourcing, negotiations, contract management, contract administration, and vendor performance management for all sites.
Direct, plan and coordinate recruitment, resource management and performance management of Sourcing personnel.
Develop and lead sourcing strategies and solutions for responsible spend portfolios.
Effectively manage sourcing and supplier performance.
Develops, implements, and oversees sourcing and contracting policies and procedures. Ensure current and continued compliance with all regulatory requirements, policies and procedures both internally and externally to the Institution.
Develops short and long range strategic operational objectives to enhance the effectiveness of the department.
Develops, reviews and evaluates financial and productivity report to identify and achieve areas for potential expense reduction and operational improvement.
Collaborate with other supply chain operational areas to design and implement solutions to supply chain issues and systems.
Develop, review, and evaluate financial and productivity reports to identify and achieve areas for potential expense reduction, and operational improvement.
Oversees supervisors and/or subordinate managers to include establishing priorities.
**Other Duties: Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience and Education
Bachelor's degree in related field and ten (10) years of progressive managerial experience leading purchasing, strategic sourcing and vendor performance functions to include at least three (3) years in supervisory capacity.
