Our client is a US-based think-tank association with core focus on retail and manufacturing industry research. They have been actively engaged in providing both public research and tailor-made research to corporate - already with a number of key clients in the space. They have come to an exciting time that they are keen on further expanding their footprint across the globe and would like to invite seasoned research professionals to join the team.
Reporting to Group CEO, you will be tasked to lead the Hong Kong team to perform macro-economic and industry research on a broad range of industries - from retail, technology to manufacturing and supply chain sectors. Working as part of the global team and America and Europe, you will be responsible for designing and generating research reports based on clients' needs and requests by analysing market data via various primary and secondary source. In addition, you will be required to help coach junior staff and also act as the brand ambassador for the organisation across the APAC region. Lastly, you will be part of the core project management team in attempt to providing consultative advice to clients, being the bridge between potential investors and start-up projects and organising industry events for network development with the support of marketing and event team.
To qualify, you should have solid business research background with area of focus of retail, consumer goods, technology and supply chain sectors. Prior equity and economic research experience is a plus. Top-notch presentation skills, numerical sense and analytical skills are critical. You should be an individual with strong passion in being a trusted advisor to the key industry players with objective of further helping organisation to grow its market share and brand presence.
