We are now inviting qualified individuals to join this team in the role of Senior BRCM Manager.
Ensuring that Global Trade and Receivables Finance (GTRF) have a robust and compliant Business Risk Control capability at a country level. This activity covers all core Trade Services, Receivables Finance, Commodity and Structured Trade Finance and Forfaiting business areas.
Provide leadership, coordination and expertise to the country business so they are able to deliver a robust BRCM capability for GTRF.
Direct responsibility for business risk compliance with Group standards and regulatory and Group Audit requirements in respect of business risk control.
Ensuring that controls are operating effectively through liaison with regional Business Risk and Control Management (BRCM) and coordination of control testing activity in the country liaising with country business risk teams in Commercial Banking (CMB), Global Banking (GB), HSBC Technology Services (HTS) and Centre's of Excellence (as appropriate).
Provision of key controls information and indicators for GTRF BRCM and country business management as required.
Provide a reference point and source of expert guidance in TRF matters (including complex trade deals) within the country.
Key representative & liaison person for all GTRF related matters with Lines of Business BRCM, risk stewards and internal auditors.
A recognised degree with a minimum of 4-5 years of managerial experience.
Knowledge and practical experience of either GTRF businesses or an Audit or Internal Control function.
Broad knowledge of the Groups three lines of defence and the practical application of BRCM requirements.
Detailed understanding of the relevant Region and structures.
An appreciation of the global nature of the group's business.
Refined ability to deal with and influence senior GTRF management in country.
Strong independent contributor who is comfortable working in a self-directed mode.
Ability to assimilate other product areas and contribute effectively in control related activities.
