The Sy Syms School of Business, an AACSB accredited business school, offers business programs for undergraduate and graduate men and women. The Sy Syms School of Business of Yeshiva University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the assistant professor level in Information and Decision Science. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Statistics, or a related field. Candidates are expected to have strong research credentials as well as evidence of an excellent and creative teaching record in Statistics, Quantitative Methods, Statistical Learning, and Data Mining all with applications to business.
Candidates must have evidence of teaching experience in:
Statistical theory as applicable to business
Implementation of these methods in R or Python
Applying these methods within various business environments, especially marketing.
Special attention will be given to candidates with evidence of research in the intersection between time series and supply chain management
