Minimum salary for this position is $3,413.50 per course. The Department of Mathematics at the University of Michigan-Flint seeks a Lecturer 1 for the Fall 2018 semester to teach up to three sections of MTH 090: Intermediate Algebra and one section of MTH 118: Business Calculus.
MA in Mathematics or a closely related field, or at least 4 years of high school mathematics teaching experience or 2 years of college teaching experience in mathematics or a closely related discipline.
Experience teaching mathematics to diverse students; commitment to student mentoring and development.
This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U-M and the Lecturers Employee Organization, AFL-CIO, which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours and other terms and conditions of employment.
