The Supply Chain Learning Consultant is an architect who will design the future of learning for Supply Chain employees. The Learning Consultant will apply sound instructional design practices and hands-on learning methodologies to build competency roadmaps. Within these roadmaps, the Learning Consultant will propose solutions that will close process knowledge and skill gaps. To do so, the Learning Consultant will need to evaluate existing programs to extend their reach and effectiveness and propose new solutions. This may include industry-recognized formats such as classroom courses, online courses, job aids, and tests – and newer or emerging options, such as simulations, games, social media, apps, e-tools, performance-based assessments, and more. The Learning Consultant will work closely with a team of technical content developers as they build the actual solutions. The Learning Consultant will help guide the development team and evaluate the deliverables. The ultimate goal of this new role is to positively impact the job performance of supply chain employees. Above all, this will require vision, drive, energy, and self-direction.
