The responsibilities of this position include high quality teaching, student advising and research. Service to the department and the University is also expected. The successful candidate should demonstrate the ability to operate effectively in a team-oriented, diverse, multicultural environment.
An earned Doctorate in Industrial Technology, Technology Management or closely-related field
Minimum of either manufacturing supervisory experience or prior experience in teaching at the university/college level in relevant areas as full / part time professorate, instructor or graduate assistant
Evidence of strong communication skills in spoken and written English
Ability to teach courses and laboratories in at least three of the following areas with the capacity to grow in two other areas: CADD for Manufacturing, Industrial Statistics, Industrial Materials, Manual Manufacturing Methods, Computer Numeric Control, Robotics, Programmable Logic Controls, Work Design Ergonomics/Safety, Project Management, Supervision, Quality Assurance, Lean Systems Management, Capstone Projects
Ability to teach in at least one of the following areas at the Masters level; Resource Management, Project Management, Operations Leadership, Quality Management, Lean Systems, Research Methods in Technology Management, Supply Chain Management, Emerging Technologies
