Kent State University at Trumbull invites applications for a full-time, nine-month, tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level to teach undergraduate business courses in the department of Management and Information Systems beginning August 2018.

Teaching responsibilities include, but are not limited to, courses in operations, project and supply chain management and business policy and strategy. Expectations include teaching excellence, continued professional development, scholarly activity resulting in publications, and service to the University, the profession and the community. The successful candidate will perform scholarly activity to maintain AACSB accreditation.
Candidates must have a doctorate in Business Administration or cognate discipline with business experience by appointment date. A strong interest in teaching undergraduate students and ability to perform scholarly research to maintain AACSB accreditation are required.
Preferred Qualifications – if applicable:
Ability to use classroom technology such as Zoom video conferencing is preferred.
Candidates with an interest in promoting the economic development capacity of the campus through teaching, research, and community outreach in a locally important field such as e-commerce, logistics, or entrepreneurship are particularly encouraged to apply.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:
Light work-Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently to move objects. Incumbent must be able to communicate with others. Incumbent may be required to travel from building to building frequently and off campus occasionally.
