Provides supervision and direction to subordinate staff and coordinates work flow within the major work unit, including distributing work, disseminating information, assigning staff to cover for absences, providing technical assistance, answering questions, and resolving problems within the work unit supervised. Performs supervisory duties, including reviewing work performance, motivating subordinates to work more effectively, identifying problems with performance and solutions to those problems, determining training needs to improve performance, initiating informal measures to correct misconduct or making recommendations for formal discipline.
Ensure the normal working of FLT team to meet the business need.
Coordinate with other internal and external customer to ensure operation in FLT team of high quality and high efficiency.
Motivate and facilitate employee training, improve their technical skill. Ensure individual and department goal achievement and good support for customer service.
Support employee for continue equipment improvement to meet customer requirements
Responsible for FLT related project organization and validation, ensure project runs smoothly.
Provides the central point of contact within the District for all Systems and Drives product service requirements with customers, sales representatives an manufacturing plants. May recommend corrective action troubleshooting.
Supervises the assignment schedule priority of Engineer Analyst, Field Support to insure that all product service requirements are professionally handled in a timely and satisfactory manner.
Assists Field Engineering Support staff in the resolution of difficult service problems.
Coordinates and review all service reports prior to submission to the respective manufacturing plant to insure that they provide accurate and complete information for an analysis by the plant of the product failure.
Maintain control and records of service stock transactions and shipments. Assign direct people to perform the following tasks as required:
A. Ship materials to customers and service representatives as required. B. Insure receipt of failed materials back to District/Branch offices within service center area. C. Return failed materials to appropriate plant for repair with properly completed PSR forms. Insure return of repaired material. D. Request additional service stock when required.
Insures that Field Engineering is properly trained. Schedules and assists in additional training as necessary.
Assist in the technical aspects of demonstrating products to potential customers.
Monitor manpower utilization and requirements for the district/branch and request additions as needed.
Review performance of Field Engineering Support staff in conjunction with District/Branch Managers.
