VP Supply Chain

The VP of Supply Chain is the central resource for designing and executing responsible, cost effective supply chain strategies across all areas of Coordinated Health. The primary responsibility of this role is to successfully develop and execute strategies in support of the largest area of (non-labor) expense for the hospital network - medical, surgical and clinical supplies. At its core, the VP of Supply Chain role is accountable for developing a system-wide approach for end-to-end supply chain integration that delivers customer service and support of the caregiver.
The VP of Supply Chain is responsible for the design, development and execution of a supply chain vision, strategic plan and annual operating plan to include inventory management, direct and indirect material purchasing, strategic sourcing, capital, leases and software purchases. This role is accountable for total company supply spend and management of medical and clinical costs to meet business plan targets. This position plays a key role in system design, utilization and improvement.
Particular areas of focus for this role will include elimination of duplicative inventories; standardization of supplies; management of supplier relationships and monitoring of contract performance and compliance; supply expense reduction through efficiencies and elimination of redundant processes; leveraging of appropriate technologies for optimal efficiencies and to ensure appropriate linkage to other systems and development and monitoring of internal/external benchmarks for supply chain performance.
