Come join MSU to provide support and direction for IT in the College of Nursing including managing hardware and software for videoconferencing, desktop support, and network administration. Work closely with UIT to provide training and facilitating the interface of central IT resources with College of Nursing resources!
This position is responsible for the procurement, installation, maintenance, management, and support of all IT resources in the College of Nursing and its five campuses (Billings, Bozeman, Great Falls, Kalispell, and Missoula). In addition to the ~160 desktops/laptops, this person manages the network associated hardware and services including videoconferencing (servers and endpoints). The person in this position is often required to communicate, coordinate and troubleshoot with network managers at our remote campuses (MSU-Billings, Benefis Health System, Kalispell Regional Medical Center, and the University of Montana). This position is also responsible for facilitating training of faculty and staff in the effective and appropriate use of the college’s and University’s various IT resources.

Experience with videoconferencing systems.
Demonstrated experience performing technical operations including configuring, installing, maintaining, repairing and troubleshooting computers, printers, videoconferencing equipment and other IT devices.
Experience with enterprise software to accomplish desktop management and support.
Experience providing written documentation of IT equipment and procedures to end users.
