The Quality Engineer ISO 13485 will be based in Manchester, CT. In this position, you will support mold and equipment qualification/validation activities, directly support customers throughout product life-cycle, and work with Process Engineers, Program Managers, Metrology and customer contacts.

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:
Support New Product Project teams to provide for smooth transition of New Products into the regular manufacturing process.
Work with engineering, manufacturing and customer representatives to define inspection requirements for each new product to ensure that the product requirements are met.
Work with metrology personnel to develop fixturing and methodologies for measurement of new products.
Apply statistical techniques and tools to new product/process qualification activities that will ensure product conformance to customer requirements.
Complete advanced quality tools as required by our customers [control plans, FMEA, PPAP, etc.]
Conduct special testing, process capability studies, repeatability studies and equipment correlations as required.
Support Engineering, Manufacturing, and Marketing to initiate product improvements.
Assist in analyzing customer returns, customer product complaints for corrective action and the implementation of improvements to prevent their recurrence.
Apply statistical techniques to develop, implement and validate molds, equipment, automation, inspection equipment, software, etc.
Here is some of what you’ll need (required):
Solid GD&T knowledge required.
Knowledge of PFMEA and Control Plans.
Fluency in Minitab or similar software.
Experience with corrective and preventive actions.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
