We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Project Coordinator.
In this role, the successful candidate will support design, development, and implementation of a number of projects related to digital innovation in healthcare delivery. Relevant areas of focus include: user-centered digital mHealth product development, EMR, clinical decision support tools, and predictive analytics.

Research Activities - Collects information for the research project(s). Uses tools to facilitate data collection (e.g. calendars, schedules, tracking logs, etc). Audits and updates the database or the case report forms. Conducts study visits, obtains and documents information within the time frame specified. Collects, compiles and conducts preliminary analyses of data, statistics, and other materials for reports
Continuous Learning - Position requires ongoing continuing education in all areas of research development (training programs are provided through the SOM). Promotes own professional growth and development in research role and maintains current expertise in area of practice
Financial/Protocol Development - Monitors budget throughout project, tracks expenditures, processes receipts, and reimbursements. Also helps with preparation of funding reports to funding agencies
NYU Office of Clinical Trials/IRB - If applicable, oversee the submission of necessary documents required by the NYU Institutional Board (IRB), NYU Office of Clinical Trials in order to obtain approval to conduct human subjects research. Secures accurate signatures and forwards documents and/or forms to appropriate destination. Ensures the accurate execution of research protocols in accordance with Good Clinical Practices, HIPAA and required obligations to patient/subject, Principal Investigator, research team and the sponsor
Reporting and Data Analysis - Prepares draft progress reports to funding agencies and presentations to sponsoring and regulatory agencies. Prepares and provides reports to all necessary parties on the progress of the study as needed. Recommends changes/additions to established data fields. Analyses data collected, formulates, prepares database and generates a complete measurement report for review by the director
Project Coordination - Oversees planning/management of study activities and of multiple projects as assigned. Schedules regular project staff meetings; develops agendas in advance of meetings. Drafts and distributes minutes and clear task lists to participants to ensure adequate project progress. Reviews progress of projects and initiate appropriate actions to achieve target objectives
Grants - Administers preparation of grant applications and other grants related activities such as developing grants applications/proposals and fund raising activities if applicable. Collects and organizes required paperwork for submission if required for the grant
Decision Making and Problem Solving - Combines and evaluates information and data to make decisions about relative importance of information and choosing the best solution to solve problems
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required
To qualify you must have a Bachelor's degree with two years related work experience
Coursework or experience in public health, design, data science or other relevant field
Strong interest in healthcare, health services delivery and/or digital health
Knowledge of standard computer software packages for data analysis/presentation, and on-line literature search engines.
Exceptional writing skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and apply critical thinking and sound judgement
Good organizational and time management skills
Master's degree preferred
