Position Summary: Incumbent is responsible for planning, directing and overseeing all aspects of UC Irvine Health's contracting per UC Health Standards. Manages the acquisition of goods and services including medical/surgical supplies, equipment acquisition, contracting of professional/consulting services, design and/or construction services, business contracts, and purchased/maintenance services,. Ensures compliance with applicable regulations and the highest integrity in all contracting services. Responsible for obtaining optimal pricing and terms of contracts, analyzing data for purposes of comparative financial analysis and cost reduction opportunities, and generating reports and presentations on which the organization can make decisions.
