The IT Lead leads information technology initiatives for the College of Agriculture and the Montana Agricultural Experiment Station (COA/MAES) by researching, planning, coordinating, and directing information technology support for the College. Collaborating and coordinating with the IT Community and the office of the Chief Information Officer (CIO).

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or closely related field, plus recent progressive experience in an IT field, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education to effectively perform the required job functions.
Demonstrated supervisory experience which includes coaching, counseling, and evaluating job performance.
Experience analyzing software environments and recommending changes to improve organization efficiency, system reliability, and reduce costs.
Experience working in virtual environments.
Experience developing and implementing IT policies and procedures.
