This national position is responsible for developing, coordinating and delivering peer networks and education for area of focus (ex. Supply chain management, value analysis, clinical-supply integration) to members. The position will lead a portfolio of networks and education by being accountable for the strategic activities and resources that advance the success of the membership through external and internal discovery, knowledge sharing, collaboration, and innovation with peers and other industry leaders. Provides thought leadership for supply chain content for Vizient and its members. The position supports the goals and strategies of the corporate enterprise.
Provide leadership and support to the Large IDN Supply Network (LISN).
Provide leadership and support to the Voice of the LISN Member (VoLM) enabling the LISN membership to support the strategic direction of Vizient through a two-way ongoing dialogue to keep LISN informed as Vizient strategies advance and Vizient leadership informed as to the reaction and input of LISN members
Create and implement Strategic plans for peer networks
Create and implement strategic planning activities with LISN member executives to engage and deliver measurable value derived by members engaged in LISN.
Provide leadership and support to the Supply Chain Executive and Value Analysis Network.
Assess customer needs, source content/speakers to meet those needs, provide program moderation duties and ensure there is high participant satisfaction related to the Supply Chain Leadership Series.
Develops content curriculum from member research, industry research, thought leaders, and internal Vizient staff. Works closely with internal supply chain thought leaders as well as the local community-based network directors to deliver a coordinated offering.
Serves as the Peer network and education lead for area of focus across Community network directors, performance management, and enterprise-wide in order to increase understanding, knowledge and engagement in peer network and leadership offering.
Provide leadership and support for the judging processes, judge selection/management and ongoing criteria evaluation for the annual application-based Supply Chain Management Excellence Awards.
Identify related analytics to use in the peer network offering.
Develops and aligns budgets and initiatives to deliver growth targets for areas of focus.
Drives and collaborate with Client Management and Vizient senior executives regarding current offerings and identifies unmet needs, source of innovation to position peer networks, education, and programs.
Communication – lead, contribute, support relevant research and publication of network related outcomes and activities as well as knowledge management across networks.
Acumen and influence skills to work with a variety of disciplines within the membership
Minimum 10 years’ work experience in a healthcare related field. Experience working in a clinical supply chain environment is preferred.
An understanding of supply chain strategy and the ability to work across the system and connect to clinical leaders is required
Detail-oriented and exceptional organizational, project and time management skills
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including facilitating group discussions/presentations; ability to effectively communicate complex and or technical information in a clear and concise manner; ability to write meaningful yet concise reports and other communications.
Proven ability to develop and maintain excellent relationships with internal and external customers. This position has the potential to be very “visible” both internally and externally.
Ability to develop relationships with others in order to lead, influence and effect change.
Ability to travel up to 25%
