The Customer Engagement team provides world-class service and support for our customers (Students, Staff, Faculty, and Internal Business Units). The team includes: The Enterprise Service desk which provides Tier 1 troubleshooting and support via telephone/email; Field Services which provides installation of new or serviced equipment with onsite/remote troubleshooting, and Service Tool Delivery support which includes system imaging, software/system updates, asset management, and system administration of various enterprise CRMs.
As a key member of the Workstation Lifecycle team, this position will be responsible for the support of various applications such as SCCM, BigFix, Druva inSync Sophos Endpoint Security, JAMF PRO, and Logmein Rescue. Will serve as Tier 3 support for Windows/Dell/Apple Operating Systems, Monitors, Desktop/laptops and more for the Field Support team.
This role will be well versed in Active Directory from a GPO/Computer & Users/Powershell/O365/Print/Shared Drives/Server configuration/OU/Groups. The team also provides software/hardware procurement and inventory support and at times works with the department HR and Admin teams for on and off boarding of staff, students and contractors. All ticket request come through the Departments instance of ServiceNow.
Implement and manage server support systems including SCCM, WSUS, BigFix, Druva, AirWatch, Jamf Pro, PDQ Deploy/Inventory and Sophos Anti-Virus systems.
Maintain Active Directory: Objects, GPO, Permissions, etc.
Produce and maintain host-based firewall policies for ITS and supported departments computers. Creates complex scripts to accomplish work-related tasks.
Provides strategic input to system redesign or development efforts. Investigate and evaluate new technologies such as wireless, VPNs, mobile devices, and make strategic recommendations to management
Install, configure, maintain and administer Windows/macOS gold images to provide essential services for ITS and client departments.
