This position is responsible for development and deployment of global business processes supporting direct material sourcing and procurement. The procurement process support is enabled through a process analyst role reporting into this position. This position is responsible for organizing, leading, contributing and facilitating projects to enhance, streamline, improve and standardize RA systems and processes that support direct material sourcing and procurement. This is a cross-functional leadership role with responsibility for project management and accountability for deadlines, results and metrics, as well as the overall quality of processes. The project portfolio includes projects with moderate to high complexity and impact across multiple business units and functions. This individual must be self-directed and work well within a team environment. This individual must be able to effectively present to directors and vice presidents.
Understand systems, processes, methods, tools, data, etc. needed in a best in class direct material sourcing and procurement organization. Identify, create and implement projects to drive Rockwell Automation's supply chain to best in class performance and enable the Connected Supply Chain. Lead Supply Chain optimization projects ranging from simple process improvement changes to complex next generation systems and tool implementation.
Lead process governance for established processes and methods. Drive Procurement Process Improvements through elimination of variation and waste while driving speed and cross-functional optimization. Assure standard business practices are implemented globally. Lead benchmark activities to ensure Rockwell practices are industry leading. Maintain awareness of economic and industry situations and trends, which may impact the effectiveness of sourcing and procurement processes, policies and procedures. Suggest changes to assure processes remain best in class. Hire, develop, manage and effectively deploy the Direct Material Procurement Analyst position in support of the responsibilities of this position. Responsible for following all applicable corporate, company, governmental and regulatory policies and procedures as appropriate for this position.
