The Economics Department at the University of Michigan-Flint seeks to hire a Lecturer I to teach one section of ECN 380 (Economics for Education). The course has an emphasis on strengthening knowledge of applied economics with materials and techniques currently used in the classroom. The appointment is for the Fall 2018 semester only. Minimum salary for this position is $3,413 per course section.
Master’s Degree or higher in economics or teaching. Experience teaching social sciences at the K-8 level.
This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U-M and the Lecturers Employee Organization, AFL-CIO, which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours and other terms and conditions of employment.
