In Supply Chain we are the solution providers for the BASF group. With closer cooperation with our customers, increase effectiveness, and speed new and innovative services we strive to provide the best supply chain services within BASF.
The Best Practice Leader, North America (NA) Site Logistics will leverage individual site plans and best practices to link, optimize, build and create a common practices logistic community across sites in NA. The Best Practice Leader will also drive the NA site logistics community to set priorities and targets that improve processes, savings, operational practices, and technology/systems in site logistic operations. He/She will leverage global CoE site logistics resources and capabilities to add value in NA region site logistic operations, creating transparency and championing site logistics opportunities across businesses, functions while driving benefits and investments.

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent
Formula for Success
- Capitalizing on your process experience in areas related to site logistics or related operations areas (SCM, Logistics, Manufacturing operations, etc.) you will create, organize and lead the NA site logistics community
- You will successfully Identify activities and projects that the global site logistics operations (SLO) and Center of Expertise (CoE) can contribute to in the North America (NA) region.
- Collaborating with the NA site logistics community, you will define targets and priorities for NA site logistics; you will review and gain approval of site logistics targets and priorities with Manufacturing Steering Committee
- You will actively capture and share best practices within the NA site logistics community
- Your project management skills will contribute to the success of key cross business, and cross functional NA site logistics investment projects
- Your understanding site plans, enablement of communication and sharing will create transparency and successfully monitor site logistics service, cost and process standards
This development position is an accelerated development experience for candidates who require a cross business and/or cross functional assignment based on their development goals. Candidate should have track record of getting results in first time, diverse and changing conditions and demonstrating higher performance over time. Due to the developmental nature of this role, time in role between 18-36 months.
