On behalf of our confidential technology client, CBRE is hiring a "Construction Quality Assurance Program Manager (MEP Infrastructure Construction)" for it large hyperscale data center construction projects. This is not an IT-related job. Qualified candidate have work history with large MEP infrastructure construction projects for large industrial construction projects. As part of our clients, "End-to-End Quality Team", is looking for candidates with construction industry experience in the delivery of state-of-the-art physical plant infrastructure with predictable, world class quality.
PREREQUISITES- All candidates must have the following:
Industrial Construction Experience - Experience with large project construction practices, especially data center MEP infrastructure projects or other large construction projects for critical environments.
Quality Culture Program Management Experience. Balancing schedule, cost and quality/productivity.
Global Experience - US and / or recent EMEA construction experience must be demonstrated. Have an understanding regional construction industry practices, delivery methodologies, local market conditions, labor unions, EU labor laws, and understand subtle cultural motivations.
As a Supplier Quality Assurance Program Manager (MEP Infrastructure Construction)", you'll work directly with our portfolio of general contractors, electrical/mechanical trades organizations, key integrators, fabricators, and commissioning agents to improve our quality in our construction projects.
You will engage in pre-qualification evaluations of potential construction services vendors/contractors, update the project manual, communicate quality standards and expectations to all general contractors and sub-trade contractor.
You'll be involved in project planning/tracking, risk mitigation and on-time delivery.
You will also serve as an interface to the process excellence and information technology teams who will depend on your project portfolio for best practices, establishing data feeds, fashioning metrics, and capturing lessons learned to help the organization scale efficiently. Therefore experience in quality management of construction contractors and the various trade contractors is a basic preliminary requirement. MEP infrastructure and/or large scale central cooling systems is mandatory.
Works within a team environment that works cross-functionally with large commercial construction contractors and specialty Mech./Electrical contractors.
Quality expert with a proven track record of establishing quality management systems from the ground up. With your construction, electrical and/or mechanical engineering background you are able to define, measure, analyze, improve and control the full product/service lifecycle process from concept through to execution and live operation. Your analytical background allows you to focus on the earliest predictors of performance deviation to minimize costs of poor quality and you have a relentless penchant to assure that the organization learns from past mistakes in a scalable, effective manner.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS/BEng/BArch) from College or University in a technical area of study. Minimum four years of related experience and/or training.
Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Degree; Construction Management Degree; Facilities Management Degree; OR Business Degree, with a Supply Chain Quality Management focus highly preferred.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
PMP (US and/or Canada) and LEED AP preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.
Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions. Conducts advanced financial analysis.
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to read and understand architectural drawings. Knowledge in MS Project, leases, contracts, and construction practices.
