This position is responsible for assisting with the implementation of employee commute and transportation programs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Create promotional materials to support the Commute program including posters, slideshows, and pamphlets.
Responsible for the development of materials to employees regarding commute and parking benefits.
Participate in active outreach and engagement programs, creating marketing materials, and promotion of benefits to staff.
Provide customer service through timely and friendly communications via email, phone, and in person to commuters and employees regarding commute options.
Lead presentations of program benefits to wide range of audiences.
Coordinates distribution of transportation passes, Carpool Permits, Bus schedules.
Parking management duties, collecting parking data, monthly metrics, assist in the development and implantation of new parking programs.
Collaborate with local transit agencies for promotional materials, presentations, and program improvements.
May perform other duties as assigned or requested by management. Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
HS Diploma or GED and 1 - 2 years of experience in transportation required. Experience and understanding of local transportation laws and regulations preferred. Valid driver's license of type/class required to comply with applicable regulations.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and/or supervisor.
Ability to effectively present information to an internal department and/or large groups of employees. Comfortable meeting and engaging with new people. Warm and engaging demeanor. Ability to assess circumstances, empathize and offer help.
Requires basic knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages.
Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations. Ability to solve problems in standard situations. Requires basic analytical skills.
OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES
Basic skills with Microsoft Office Suite products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Proficiency with PowerPoint required.
Good organization and time management skills. Ability to read and interpret road maps. May need to use GPS or other directional device. Ability to work handheld mobile technologies and applications
Good organizational skills. Must work well under pressure with multiple deadlines, and demonstrate a proactive approach to routine and non-routine occurrences. Strong problem-solving skills. Highly adaptable and flexible.
Ability to work flexible work schedules based on business need.
May need to be physically able to lift and move 30-40 boxes and operate a two-wheel dolly. Physical ability to assist with warehouse operations. Able to lift 50 lbs.
