70% Rental Program Coordination: Coordinates the rental vehicles used byTSUwith Enterprise. Responsible for processing rental invoices for university departments on travels. Processes the vehicle gas bills by coding the credit card on a daily/monthly schedule.
10% Compiles fleet vehicle use management reports using the fleet management software. Maintains all data entry elements into Office of Vehicle Fleet Management with State Comptrollerâ™s office (OVFM) Program. These elements include mileage, maintenance records, other expenses, new vehicle info, surplus vehicle info. Requests and collects monthly mileage records from each department that operates a passenger vehicle or truck.
5% Responds to individual requests fromOVFMrelated to their Fleet Management Program. Provides fleet information in the eventOVFMquestions minimum use or requires justification for increasing Tarletonâ™s fleet size. Ensures a complete fleet inventory is maintained for insurance purposes.
10% Assist in office functions â“ including but not limited to answering general inquiries through phone and email correspondence. Supports Director of Procurement & Contracts with reporting, analytics and other projects deemed suitable. Maintains vehicle and equipment titles and supporting documentation. Assists Contract Administrator with inventory audits to include vehicles and equipment.
5% Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience: Bachelorâ™s degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience. One year of experience in inventory property management. Experience with inventory management information systems.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Knowledge of work processing, spreadsheet and database applications. Knowledge of governmental and higher education operations.
