The Supply Chain Specialist reports to Assistant Director of Supply Chain Management. The following duties are customary for this position, but are not to be construed as all-inclusive. Duties may be added, deleted and assigned based on management discretion and institutional needs.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for management of the Single Use Account (SUA) program including but not limited to:WKU/JP Morgan campaigns, supplier onboarding, training, program payables and ongoing program maintenance
Assists with the implementation and transition of WKU to Managed Print Services and maintenance of the program after implementation is complete.
Collects and organizes data to initiate and facilitate analyses to achieve various operational and financial objectives of WKU Supply Chain Management.
Organizes and performs development activities for WKU Supply Chain Management.
Provides expertise and assistance for complex projects and initiatives in Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Shipping & Receiving and Inventory Control.
Maintains up to date knowledge on all areas of an efficient and successful supply chain.
Assists Director and Assistant Director in identifying areas for improved workflows.
Leads campus outreach initiatives.
Plans and coordinates vendor expos.
Knowledge and Skills Required
Good communication and people skills.
Record keeping skills.
Excellent Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel and Word.
Effective organization and communication skills.
Proficient use of MS Office and ability to operate computer enterprise resource system.
Ability and willingness to use proper phone and email etiquette.
