Anderson University’s Information Technology Office invites applications for the position of Coordinator, Administrative Technology. The Coordinator will provide a resource for staff and, to a lesser degree, students to enable them to take fuller advantage of campus technologies, and to assist the Director of IS and the CIO in server, network and database operations.
Troubleshoot and correct IS problems for staff (Mac and PC setup and repair; network problems--both wired and wireless; etc.)
Assist staff with administrative technologies (hardware and software).
Assist students with IT problems (network, hardware, and software).
Assist with administration of certain designated servers.
Assist with management of specialized software, including administrative software installation.
Essential Knowledge and Skills
BA or BS degree
AA in Computer Technology (or BS in related field of study)
Minimum two years PC software and hardware support
Minimum one year network support
Knowledge of fundamental SQL skills
Ability to create, delete, troubleshoot, and modify Microsoft AD and Exchange accounts
Ability to setup, troubleshoot, and repair PC hardware and software
Ability to setup and troubleshoot network connections
Ability to setup and troubleshoot multimedia and A-V hardware
Ability to work well with a variety of personalities
Ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently
Ability to adapt well to change
