The Global Account Manager will be based in Woerden, NL. The purpose of this function is to manage relationships with customer groups with a global profile including sales and technical support for our product.

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:
You will be leading a multidisciplinary Global Account Team and managing the relationship with globally operating customers, making sure that we nurture a for both sides successful and satisfying cooperation.
You will oversee the sales and promotion processes as well as the technical support which is provided to the allocated customer group for our product portfolio. By doing this you will also drive “Customer Leadership” actions to secure MCi’s “A” rating.
Also you will be in control of strategic negotiations, agreement and implementation, including Long Term (Commercial) Agreements (LTA) and the connected financial matters around it.
Next to creating business plans for the assigned customer group you will also participate in the development of the MCi business plan and take care of its long term implementation.
Moreover you will synchronize and sell MCi “Product Roadmap” to our internal stakeholders, such as customer global engineering and purchasing department.
As the account management specialist you are, you will also advise to the management team to market, product, price, customer and OEM pull-through strategies and keep them informed by a regular reporting.
Identifying market trends, competitive factors and business intelligence comes as natural to you as initiating new strategic projects and market opportunities.
Here is some of what you’ll need (required):
Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering combined with a sales or marketing related education.
Extensive experience (over 5 years) in engineering and sales/marketing activities in the automotive industry including knowledge of ISO/TS 16949.
Proven record of successful leadership, sales and customer relationship management.
Proficient user of MS-Office, especially Excel.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English as well as German or French.
Proactive, self-driven team leader with analytical skills and a creative mind.
Strong technical, financial and legal insight.
Willingness to travel frequently.
