Responsible for building and overseeing the delivery of a foundational and strategic roadmap for insights and analytics across our North American business. Establishes the governance framework required to become an insight-driven organization by ensuring the Company has the right people, processes, data, and technologies to embed insights into all levels of decision making.
Reports to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and takes frequent direction from both the CFO and CIO as well as interfaces and collaborates with business leaders across the organization.
Leads the development of an insights-driven culture and organization that utilizes multiple sources of information to create actionable strategies to enable decision making.
Develops the governance model and organizational structure for data insights and analytics that will deliver both short-and long-term business results
Communicates a vision for data insights to stakeholders throughout the business
Drives ideas from “The Art of the Possible” into execution including recommending the technologies, techniques, and tools to deliver results.
Attracts, trains, and retains top talent with the technical, leadership and communication skills to advance the use of analytics broadly within the business.
Responsible for designing complex predictive models.
Advances the development and deployment of relevant, consistent and timely metrics and KPI’s across the North American operations.
Ensures the Data Management resources and processes effectively support the Analytic/Data outputs as defined by this role.
Develops capital and operational budget for the function. Routinely monitors, manages and controls budget, analyzes variances and takes appropriate action and develops plans for productivity improvements.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Experience in advanced qualitative and quantitative data mining.
Experience in data governance, expectations, and leading practices.
Strong knowledge of data management solutions and innovative processes and tools
Advanced knowledge of analytics technology vendors and existing systems platforms.
Working knowledge of Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence and the ability to apply it to the strategy and execution of the IDO program a plus
Experience in developing Analytics programs in highly automated and fast-paced environments
Extensive functional and technical knowledge of advanced analytics processes, systems, and methods for insight gathering
Experience in applying complex data analytics techniques, including dynamic analysis and data warehousing.
Experience in using and implementing real-time analytics tools, including Business Intelligence and dashboards.
Reasoning - strong critical thinking and analytical skills resulting in keen judgments and the ability to bring forward fresh perspectives and creative solutions to address complicated business issues.

At least 10 years of proven leadership operating at a senior level, and/or leading the design, implementation, and operations of analytical/data performance transformations.
Proven leadership and responsibility for data management, data quality and or advanced analytics programs.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics or Finance is required
Master’s Degree in Data Management, Computer Science or related fields is preferred
