DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
Performs complex analysis, develops forecasts and creates reports to help optimize retail replenishment including new product launches, sales opportunities and supply recommendations across all accounts/products.
Cross-functional leader of forecasting activities including monthly and weekly collaboration processes as well as ad-hoc forecasting that drives Nintendo of America Inc. (NOA) supply decisions
Initiates continuous improvements of forecasting process including model updates, process change and incorporation of new data elements
Prepares NOA purchase recommendations in support of NOA strategy/objectives for sell-thru and inventory
Serves as the backup to the application owner of Demantra including support of ongoing improvement, training and troubleshooting
Responsible for bottom-up sell-thru forecasting of physical products at retail incorporating promotional lift, business insights and other inputs
Provides launch (new product) forecast including analysis of analogue skus, industry trends and customer share
Synthesizes analysis of marketing activity, customer perspectives, consumer research and product characteristics into actionable recommendations for forecasting and replenishment.
Reviews historical sales trends for all top customers, researches demand drivers, prepares forecast data and evaluates forecast results.
Measures and tracks accuracy of sell-through forecasts and makes recommendations for ongoing improvement
Maintains and analyzes Key Performance Indicator (KPI) dashboards and communicates insights and recommendations related to sell-thru and inventory performance.
Identify and advise account teams on sales opportunities based on demand forecasts, retail stock levels and supply chain considerations.
Evaluates and maintains seasonal index to drive forecast model including incorporation of market trends and input from account planners.
Provides decision support to executive management regarding product transitions, supply plans, launch plans and other ad hoc topics.
Functions as expert on demand management applications (Demantra), including worksheet creation, troubleshooting and training of end-users.
Supports ongoing improvement and maintenance of Demantra including design and implementation of system enhancement projects

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS
4 - 6 years in forecasting/planning or comparable analytical role, with a strong understanding of supply chain, sales, and inventory management practices.
Excellent analytical skills, with demonstrated abilities in forecasting, understanding statistical models and synthesizing data from multiple sources.
Experience with cross-functional forecasting processes and S&OP
Knowledge of current retail landscape and key consumer trends.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
Experience in high-volume consumer products environment, familiarity with video game industry preferred
Demantra and Oracle (EBS) experience highly preferred.
Effective time management skills.
Undergraduate degree in business, sales, supply chain, or related field, sales operations background preferred
IBF CPF certification
Delta Associates Business Insights Certification
APICS certification or other recognized supply chain equivalent certification
