The Management Information Systems Department in the College of Business and Economics at West Virginia University is seeking qualified applicants for a tenure-track Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor of Management Information Systems beginning August 10, 2018, or January 3, 2019. This position is a tenure track, 9-month continuing faculty appointment in support of a college-level, online graduate program in Business Cybersecurity.
Candidates must have a demonstrated record of excellence in research with the potential to establish an independent research program and a commitment to excellence in university teaching. Candidates must have knowledge, skill and interest in teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses in management information systems and technology with a specialization in the topics of cybersecurity, networking, programming, and/or system analysis & design (preferably in a business school environment). Preparation in data analytics and data mining is additionally welcomed.
