The Convention Sales Assistant will provide support to the convention team with exhibitor account management, registration and logistics management for FreshMKT Expo, FreshTEC Expo, SmartFood Expo and Global Cold Chain Expo.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports sales with exhibitor proposals, sponsorships and communications
  • Generates confirmations, reports, data for convention team
  • Ensure timely turnaround of leads to convention sales team
  • Respond to exhibitors, sponsors and vendors in a timely manner
  • Track payments, cancellations and invoicing into exhibitor database
  • Provides logistical support, including securing booth space, registering exhibitors/attendees and lead management
  • Acts as liaison between exhibitor and General Service Contractors onsite
  • Assist with database management of exhibitor sales software
  • Collect and track EAC and exhibitor insurance certificates
  • Assist with updating Exhibitor Services Manual
  • Assist with onsite exhibitor sales and support the convention team as needed
  • Some travel will be required

  • Ability to perform several duties concurrently
  • Self-motivated and pro-active team player with experience developing ways of accomplishing goals with little supervision.
  • Ability to learn and master new software
  • Must be friendly and upbeat with exceptional personal customer service skills
  • Excellent communication with written and verbal skills
