Global Transaction Services (GTS) provides liquidity management, payments and receipts, trade and supply chain finance, foreign exchange and commercial card services to three million small businesses, thousands of middle market companies, and to multinational corporations, financial institutions and governments around the world.
The Content & Communications Manager develops messaging and manages client-facing content for GTS in the APAC region, to differentiate Bank of America Merrill Lynch and raise market profile through participation in industry awards. The Content & Communications Manager will work closely with Product and Sales partners to develop impactful messaging and client-facing materials, and ensure that all APAC-relevant content is up-to-date and consistent. This content covers a broad range of sales and marketing collaterals, including proposal templates, client-facing decks and case studies. Responsibilities include writing of content, managing the approval process, updating materials on a regular basis, managing changes and posting to the global GTS content repository for easy access by the Sales team. The Content & Communications Manager is also responsible for internal communication for the region, and the end-to-end development of industry award submissions.
The Content & Communications Manager will also be required to play the role of Proposal Manager as and when required. He/she will manage the proposal process for treasury services Request for Proposal (RFP) responses in Asia. Responsible for the engagement of downstream partners, coordination of strategy call, the development of a project plan which outlines the timeline and deliverables for all the business partners, research and response to questions and final production of the RFP response. The role will support the Treasury Sales Officers in Asia and will support country and regional responses for treasury services. The Proposal Manager will work with the sales team to ensure that the RFP response is in compliance per the client requirements, addresses all the RFP questions in a professional manner highlighting Bank of America Merrill Lynch's differentiators, and is completed within the required deadline.
Work with the Product and Sales to define and produce sales support material and client-facing collateral. Assist in packaging product content to ensure that the audience can effectively communicate product and solution differentiators to clients.
Develop and update all GTS content and client-facing materials relevant to APAC, and ongoing maintenance of content in the GTS repository.
Develop APAC messaging for GTS, ensuring consistency with other regional and global content.
Work with global partners to develop and aggregate content for the GTS global newsletter, and other internal communications.
Manage all APAC award submissions on an end-to-end basis, ensuring alignment with other regional submissions and the global submission.
Build case studies and other Sales tools important to Sales to win business.
Work with Product, Sales and Marketing to develop thought leadership content.
Excellent writing, and communications skills, with thorough command of English grammar and writing techniques.
Familiarity with the treasury management industry (ideally experience in another transaction banking organization).
Flexible, collaborative approach, and ability to deliver accurately and thoroughly with speed.
Proven ability to lead and influence business partners to ensure deadlines and deliverables are met.
Ability and experience working with and incorporating graphics and visual elements.
Creativity - ability to position our solutions in a differentiated way (working with Product and Sales).
Deadline-driven, detail-oriented team player.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
Extensive experience working with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
