Purpose of Position
Work with customers and IT teams to develop requirements, maintain application configuration, test, support (issue management, request fulfillment) and provide expert analysis for the PeopleSoft financials and Supply Chain management application.
Contribute independent subject matter expertise and execution of assigned tasks including:
Incident management and resolution
Problem management root cause analysis
Assisting with compiling/review business cases
Planning and monitoring, eliciting and organizing business requirements
Translating and simplifying business requirements
Requirements management and communication
Analysis of business requirements
Development of detailed test plans
Collaborate and share knowledge including:
Demonstrating functionality and expertise to educate internal/campus customers
Documenting and sharing tools, tips and knowledge within and across teams
Provide content/develop communication to external end users
Contribute knowledge and process improvement including:
Posting and reviewing with internal/campus customers helpful documentation for SME
Recommendations for process/procedure improvements

Bachelor's degree or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Minimum two years to five years working experience in performing business analysts functions including but not limited to:
Ability to use requirements to drive the design or review of test cases, process change requests, and manage a project’s scope, acceptance, installation and deployment
Solid working knowledge of two or more modules in PeopleSoft 9.1 & 9.2 FSCM suite with specialty in Financials/Supply Chain Management – Supplier Contracts/Strategic Sourcing/eSupplier
Supplier Contracts/Strategic Sourcing/eSupplier: Provide PeopleSoft expertise and best practice in our review, defining and PS Supplier Contracts/ Strategic Sourcing/eSupplier configuration and set up, ensuring efficient process flow. Working knowledge in PeopleSoft Supplier Relationship Management including but not limited to PS Catalog Management, Purchasing, ePro. Experience with 9.2 based PeopleSoft environment with multiple integrations to and from the eProcurement module to Jaggaer or similar third party procurement systems.
Solid working knowledge of all phases of the application development life cycle specifically business case development, modeling techniques and methods and ability to conduct cost/benefit analysis
Service Now (Incident and Problem Management, Request Fulfillment, Change Management, etc.) hands-on experience
Ability to work well with people in all levels of the organization and handle a fast paced, dynamic environment where competing interests and working multiple priorities is the norm.
Excellent organizational skills, leadership skills, promote teamwork, problem-solving, and understanding of systems engineering concepts
Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint, Project);
Strong skills with operating STAT, Service Now or any change management and incident management system.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; including technical writing skills
Hands-on experience with one or more PeopleSoft applications (Campus Solutions, Enterprise Portal, HCM, Financials, EPM, and/or CRM) and integrating PeopleSoft with non-PeopleSoft Applications or third party systems.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or any related field.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
Strong issue isolation skills; ability to quickly interpret and gather requisite information; solid work organization and process hand-off skills.
May work around standard office conditions.
Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation.
Some travel may be required.
Uses standard office equipment.
The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), subject to the position being at least 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length.
